Is Monero the new currency of illicit transactions?
Bitcoin since 2009 has always been very popular with networks on the darkweb for the purchase of illicit products and this, because of the anonymity of transactions.
But since then, other currencies have appeared and they are sometimes much more anonymous and prevent any traceability.
Among them, Monero seems to be the one who will perhaps take over to dismiss Bitcoin in this area.
For example, on the wallstreet Market website, Monero has been added to Bitcoin as a means of payment.
The site Libertas which is a new darknet site, has renounced the use of Bitcoin and will now accept only Monero.
This site is the leader of the black market and participants in transactions will be taxed 3% fee.
