Will Amazon accept cryptocurrency payments?

On October 31, rumors spread about Amazon, according to which, the giant of the sale by Internet would accept the payments in crypto currencies.

Amazon would have recorded three areas related to digital currencies:

Amazonethereum.com

Amazoncryptocurrency.com

Amazoncryptocurrencies.com

The company already owned the name Amazonbitcoin.com.

But in an interview, Patrick Gauthier, the vice president of Amazon Pay said that Amazon did not plan to accept crypto currencies given the lack of demand in this area.

It may be that these name registrations are for defensive purposes only.

If, in the end, an actor like Amazon seriously considered payment in virtual currencies, the whole market would certainly increase dramatically.
