Bitcoin and its blockchain technology have ushered in a new world era.  For a long time, gold was the ultimate piece of investment with assured security. After some time, the fiat currency took over, allowing governments to control the economy and war using inflation at will. Now the cryptocurrency is here and looks to revolutionize the economy unlike any other currency before.

It looks to ensure financial access to people even in the remotest areas of the world. While this is a welcome development, the relationship between smart people and the coin has always had a grey area. This article looks to understand if indeed smart people are pro-Bitcoin or not?

Staying in Control

bitcoin and smart people

One of the characteristics that come with smart people is the need to stay in control. They want to control the narrative at all times. In cases where they can’t control the narrative, they must have the upper hand in case of any occurrences. This is not the case.

The smart people have always been wrong about Bitcoin. First, they did not believe that anything could challenge the fiat currency.

The major downside of the crypto to the smart people is the inability to control the value manually. Unlike the fiat currency that depends on other economic factors for value, crypto relies on user habits. The more people adopt the coin, the higher the cost.

Crypto is also highly integrated, such that any falsely manufactured increase in value will ultimately end in a bull trap. Most people thus don’t like the powerlessness that comes with Bitcoin.

That is not to say they are not willing to assume the coin is entirely useless to smart. It comes with several advantages intelligent people are looking to utilize.

Uses of Bitcoin to Smart people

If smart people won't control the coin, then the only rescuing point is the benefit of using the currency. Bitcoin comes with several advantages that make it a darling for smart people. It is fraud-proof and helps in dealing with identity theft. The coins also provide for instant settlement and accessibility.

Ultimately, the currency allows smart people to come up with investment strategies following the market value.

World’s Smartest Investing in Bitcoin

Nothing proves smart people love Bitcoin more than how much some of the people considered the smartest invests in the coin. One of the leading world influential people in approving of Bitcoin is Bill Gates. The renowned Microsoft founder looks to utilize Bitcoin in banking the larger unbanked world population.

Some of the leading financial commentators like Jim Cramer have also voiced support to the coin. Investors like Ashton Kutcher and AI Gore are also in support of the currency. Generally, the currency has several smart people backing it.

Bottom Line

Understanding whether smart people like Bitcoin can be hard with limited information. While it might seem to limit control, it comes with several advantages that the intelligent people are looking to utilize. As long as Bitcoin's value keeps rising with several adoptions, smart people will always love Bitcoin.
