European Parliament holds Blockchain summit
This summit was set up in collaboration with Eva Kaili, member of the Greek Parliament.
The purpose of this summit is to inform the members of the European Parliament and the members of the European Commission about the challenges offered by Blockchain technology.
The defense group was founded in January at the World Economic Forum meeting and wished to promote training and information for heads of government and business leaders on new technology.
“Forums like this are paving the way for a global collaboration between the private sector and regulators that will develop innovative platforms and intelligent solutions, maximizing the potential offered by blockchain technologies.“
This conference proves once again that EU leaders are keenly interested in the new technology and are exploring the different possibilities for using the blockchain.
The Director of the Defense Group pointed out that this opening to the European Market can not have any impact on the acceptance and development of the blockchain.
“The EU is the largest economic bloc in the world and one of the world’s largest regulators, and its position on technology is a chain that has deep implications in all EU member states “, did she say.
