Le géant de la messagerie Telegram a fortement augmenté sa cote de popularité avec son intention de lancer sa propre monnaie cryptographique « Gram ». Une ICO ouverte aux investisseurs publics qui était censée apporter pas moins de 1,2 milliard de dollars à la compagnie. Cependant, le recours aux ICOs semble perdre de l’ampleur.

En effet, de récents dépôts de la SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) ont révélé que Telegram avait déjà obtenu environ 1,7 milliard de dollars sur deux ventes privées. Ce qui peut être considéré comme une certaine fraude. La compagnie est donc susceptible d’annuler sa vente publique de tokens.
