Facebook, le géant réseau social de plus de 2 milliards d'utilisateurs envisagerait apparement la création de sa propre crypto-monnaie. Mais la décision n'est pas sans risque.

Certaines sources indiquent que Facebook est intéressée par la création de son propre token numérique, qui permettrait de faciliter les transactions conduites par ses plus de deux milliards d’utilisateurs, sans avoir à s’appuyer sur une monnaie soutenue par un gouvernement. Facebook s’intéresse également aux autres manières dont elle pourrait utiliser la technologie de la blockchain, sur laquelle s’appuient des crypto-monnaies populaires comme le Bitcoin ou l’Ethereum
